Historic Preservation Old Memorial Stadium Baltimore, MD When the Maryland Stadium Authority wanted to keep all the Baltimore Colts and Orioles fans happy, they contracted with Wrecking Corporation to salvage 22,000 stadium seats, the lockers of such former players as Cal Ripken and Johnny Unitas, and numerous other structural items. The salvaged memorabilia either was auctioned off or is on display today at the Babe Ruth Museum at Camden Yards.
