Wrecking Corporation of America has performed building strip out for a variety of clients needs, including the gutting of historic buildings for renovation and the removal of architectural, mechanical, electrical items for tenant fit out, including:
- Removal of elevator and escalator systems for new equipment installation
- Structural demolition of slabs, columns and walls for core reconfiguration
- Engineered scaffolding and shoring systems to facilitate our work
We have completed strip-out work in facilities such as hospitals, airports, Metro tunnels, museums, and other areas that had to remain operational while the work was completed. Working in and around areas with live utilities, pedestrian and vehicle traffic or equipment use, it is necessary not only to protect the safety of those using the facilities but also to ensure that there is minimal impact on ongoing activities.
